I bought this camera for my in-laws at Christmas. They gave it back to me and said they could not figure it out. I spent some time working with it and could not get it to work with my DVD or computer on the DVD-RAM disc. Not a very good buy, too complicated to operate. I am not looking to have to take a college class to operate the thing, just turn on, video, remove, and play. Keep it simple. Would have rated it a 1 for rock bottom low but the rating scale is 5 to 9. Go figure.

Don't pay any mind to the people who are saying that this camera is no good. Maybe they need to brush up on their technical knowledge before complaining. Read the manual – It’s pretty clear as to what you can and can’t do.

Want a real disappointment - try to get support. Phone numbers don't work. Support doesn't respond to email. When you finally get a case # its not recognized on their site. What happened to Panasonic??
